I joined early because I believed in the vision. Other platforms didn’t get it, they just wanted more proposals, not better ones. I wanted to help build something that actually helps people win. GovDash has delivered on that.

Favorite Feature

Unlimited licenses. There's no restriction on who can contribute to growth. That matters because growth is everyone's job, from delivery and contracts to capture and proposals. When the whole team contributes, you win stronger.

Customer Impact

We always say, "The goal is to win the contract, not just submit the proposal." GovDash gives teams time back, which creates space to think strategically. Instead of scrambling to meet deadlines, teams get to focus on winning. That mindset shift is one of my favorite things to see.

GovCon Community

I started in GovCon at 19, and it’s been nearly 20 years. What I love most is how generous people are, with their time, knowledge, and friendship. This community has carried me through a lot.

Proposal Tip

Use an annotated outline. Most teams skip Blue Team and jump to Pink, but those early bullet points make your draft more strategic. That means each review makes the proposal better, not just fixed.

Favorite Section

Executive Summary. I write it three times, during capture, after RFP drop, and again during reviews. It helps shape strategy and gives the team a shared story to build from.

Least Favorite Section

The acronym list. No matter how many times I check it, I always feel like I missed something. I'm glad GovDash makes it easier.

Advice for New Users

Look for what's familiar. We help you get to a solid first draft inside the app, then shift to Word and SharePoint so you can manage proposals the way you’re used to. Learn how we automate things like compliance matrices and outlines so you can spend more time where it counts.

Favorite Dessert

Anything my 12-year-old daughter bakes. It’s always made with love, and it usually tastes amazing.

I found GovCon by accident and quickly got thrown into proposals and contract management. I’ve led capture, run government programs, and supported wins from $100K to $1.5B.
